Store and Serve Advices: Store the bottle lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.

 Winemaking: Manual harvest. Grapes transported in 20 kg boxes. Grapes conserved for 24 hours in a refrigeration chamber at 0ºC. Bunches sorted by manual conveyor. Fermentation of Syrah in opened Lagares with automatic punch and with high extraction level. Fermentation of Touriga nacional in stainless steel tanks at lower temperatures (24ºC). The aim is to extract structure of Syrah, and freshness, exuberance of fruit and elegance of Touriga. 60% of batch aged 12 months in new French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Dark, dense and opaque colour. Nose with intense fruit of blueberries and raspberries, bread dough, pastry and spices. In the tasting, reveals mineral hints, with well integrated barrel notes of dark chocolate, black currant and floral. Also shows hints of liquorice with dense and elegant tannins, which adds a long and steady finish. To drink now or through the next 5 years.

Food Pairing: This wine finely accompanies red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.
